More favorites from Marc’s photo shoot!
looks really awesome Macy!
Beautiful, and I love the green door!
Your house looks just fantastic. Can’t wait to see the tv show.
I hope some nice soul upload the thing to Youtube, cos’ they don’t air that show here, not even in cable tv.
I’ll do my very best to track it down and get it available!!
Your house looks great! You did a wonderful job 😀
It’s just as beautiful as I knew it would be, back when I first found your blog! It’s been such fun seeing it all come together, and you should be REALLY proud! Not many can say they not only built their own home, and even fewer can claim to have designed such a beautiful home!
Thank you Cheryl for always being so supportive!
it is fabulous darling absolutely fabulous!!!! Sorry my take on the Gabor Sisters!!!!!
Hahaha! Thanks Uncle Bob! 🙂
Love small homes. It’s the only way to go. Unlike the wasteful energy ‘hogs’ that drain a big propane tank in no time, or take several cords of wood to heat. I really like the kitchen and the hanging colorful lamps. A low ceiling keeps it cozier too. Nice all the way around!
Thanks Valerie! I agree!
Lovely little house! I like your bed. It’s nice to see something diferent in a tiny house.
Thank you! I appreciate that!
Your tiny home looks fantastic, Macy. I forgot you had the dark floor; it looks really nice with the light walls and ceiling. I love the kitchen counter and shelves. I didn’t realize you had that much storage space under the bed. I can’t wait to see your house on the television show.
Thank you so much Dave!
It looks fabulous! Can’t wait to see the show. Looks like we started and finished our houses at about the same time. Here’s a link to an article on my finished product: http://www.nola.com/homegarden/index.ssf/2013/10/living_large_in_a_small_space.html congrats on expecting! What’s next for you?!
DUDE! Your place looks awesome, we did have just about the exact same timeline! Crazy!
I love your place Ben!
Macy, your place is so lovely! You did such a great job. I am so glad you kept on, keeping on with it even after your fall! I hope you are feeling better with your pregnancy now. xoxo Laura
Thank you Laura as always! I am feeling MUCH better!
My wife loves the lights in the kitchen, I am not finding them in the ‘Resources’. Are they from a home improvement store, lighting center, recycled,or ???
Hi Cory, I actually made those as well, I made pretty much everything in the house :). They are the product of taking a glass blowing class with my brothers, we each made one and each used a different technique. They are my whimsy. Glass blowing classes can usually be found through most cities though, ours isn’t that big and we have a couple studios, I would definitely recommend trying it out!
Thanks for the info. That’s something I’ve always been interested in, I believe there’s a craftsman in CT who teaches it. Have to reach out to my artsy friends. Have a great weekend!
Thank you, you too!
